Due to COVID-19 the UC has adopted a policy that desires to keep each student safe. We invite students to be a part of every event while practicing safe actions for you and those around you. Students will be invited to wear a mask to all events and practice 6 ft social distancing as we worship going into the summer activities.
What is the Story UC?
The University Center (UCatOKState) is composed of approx 100-120 active college students from all over the nation. We are very active and meet on a weekly basis in many formats.
The UC is a campus ministry of the Stillwater Church of Christ and our facility shares the same address as the Stillwater church building.
Since 1929 the University Center has been on the OSU campus. We are the oldest continuing campus ministry of Churches of Christ in the world!
The University Center (the UC) is the campus ministry of the Stillwater Church of Christ. We live by our motto “Belong. Believe. Become.” It defines who we are and how we function.
In a world that often seems to be pushing us apart from one another and into loneliness, we are a community where you can belong and deep friendship can be found – a friendship that mourns with you, rejoices with you, and holds you accountable. We are a place of belonging because of what we believe – Our faith in the hospitable Christian God.
The UC is a place on a state campus where you can find God and grow closer to Him. It is a place where you can safely ask and engage the tough questions of life, come to faith, and make your faith your own. Finally, the UC is a place of where we come as we are but don’t stay that way. We are a community of transformation, all coming with our different stories to become more like Christ.
