UC Students will join forces with Impact Houston during the OSU Spring Break to commit our week to sharing in this awesome inner-city children's ministry.

The WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE of Impact Houston....

  • Cost for the trip is approx $100-120 total.

    • $50 will go directly to Impact so we will have a place to sleep, shower, eat breakfasts, and chill.​  This can be paid to the UC and we will pay Impact on your behalf.

    • The other half will be needed to provide for approximately 8-9 meals during travel and evening meals.

    • You will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, clothing for the week, shower shoes and personal care items (they have a shower in the church), and meal money

Typical Schedule for the Week...

  • March 14 - leave Stilly in the morning - arrive in Houston in evening - We will be staying in the Impact building

  • Sun, Mar 15 - worship with Impact church and prepare for VBS week with children.

  • Mon-Thur - work with inner-city impact children everyday from 9am-4pm.  Each day will have a bible lesson (we prepare and teach) and then a trip/game/movie time (rollerskating, park day, water balloons, etc)

  • Mon-Thur - each evening we will share in another ministry of Impact Houston such as Liberty Island (a home for those with severe disabilities, a night with the youth group, etc)

  • Wed evening - we will travel to Kema Boardwalk for a night of fun and a meal
